Entirely too much enthusiasm over JV Volleyball IMO.
This manga has around 43 volumes?! 😨

JoJo‘s Bizarre Adventure: Part 7, Steel Ball Run, is a masterpiece of storytelling and art. Set in a gritty, unpredictable Wild West, it reinvents the series with stunning characters, emotional depth, and a magnetic rivalry between Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli. The narrative flawlessly balances bizarre Stand battles with philosophical introspection, making every chapter riveting. It‘s peak JoJo—Araki at his absolute best.
Okay, I think I liked this one more than the first two. I'm still getting used to the series, but I like how this one ended.
Books I‘ve finished reading - a few from my TBR pile and some recently purchased 👍
TBR pile:
Sorry for my Familiar, vol 5
Natsume Book of Friends, vol 29 - this series is such a relaxing read that (even at 29 volumes) I don‘t want it to end ❤️
New Purchase:
Marriage Toxin, vol 1 - been reading online, now adding the physical
Sakamoto Days, vol 1-3 - this series is pretty funny 😆

Well now I don‘t know what to do until Volume 34. Volume 33 brought the adventure of Baldroy to an end and now we shift to Finny and Snake and their mission at the FOL Orphanage. With the arrival of a surprise character it‘s going to be interesting to see how their mission goes and if they reach success.
Whole series read! At the time I started this series the belief a computer would never be able to compete with a human go player was solid. There is a documentary film out about the AI that did defeat a master. It was release @ 2018. Worth seeing.
Just hangin around outside with FMA while we wait for the rice to cook. Casey gets a small portion with every meal (he eats four times a day thanks to a pancreatitis bout a couple years back) and I plan to steal some from his pot to go with my leftover beans & lotus root. #deweysapril2024
