This audiobook was free on audible. I‘m not sure if it was badly written or if I just wasn‘t the target audience, but I was distracted from the spice a lot by how confused I was by the world building. The MC was determined to believe the shirtless guy couldn‘t # really like her when he had literally already married her and told her he was incredibly into her. It wasn‘t bad bad, but I can‘t say I‘d have paid money for it. #scarathlon #skeletoncrew

End of week two finished strong! Started and finished some books including my bookspin watched some austen zombies, did some audiopuzzling with a spooky theme, listened to a true crime podcasts, and that is my weekly game page I‘ve been working on all week and got a solid 700 😵‍💫🙀
Now I need to spend the rest of the night adding up points before starting a new week! I‘m having so much fun!

First book of October is now in the record book (so to speak). This is the 3rd book in this dragon shifter series. I like the characters in this one. Especially, Zohr. I also liked that the author continued to expand the world building. Lots of drama that I thought enhanced the main plot. 3.5 ⭐️

I started this new series with book 2 instead of one. I enjoyed, so I need to go back and read the first one. A fluff shifter series about dragons coming through a rift, maybe from an alternate universe, and they go insane without a human mate to anchor them. Interesting premise and the romance part I enjoyed. I will definitely continue this series after #Scarathlon 3.5 ish⭐️ 💚🐉

It‘s September which means Autumn/Halloween decorations are officially coming out in my house. I will be spending this weekend decorating while listening to audiobooks 🎃 👻

Oh come on – we all knew I was reading this book after I raved about book 1 and I LOVED it! I knew I would after Hayder was introduced in When the Alpha Purrs. Paranormal romance is not my thing but Eve Langlais writing is!

This one doesn‘t exactly start great. The MC gets sexually assaulted, then the things get worse from there 😕. This book may appeal to the readers who like their darlings to suffer & suffer before the happily ever after and the inevitable triumph, but for me it was almost too much.

I‘m seriously reconsidering continuing this series.

(Although, knowing me, I‘ll probably give it one more chance.)

Barely so-so.
