pickIt took me quite long to finally read THE story about our national hero. I'm quite happy I did. This is Marvel 1.0 with an overpowered superhero, but actually a nice read. Yes, I enjoy reading Schiller 😅 Now I also finally know the whole story, and not only parts of it. As always, the Reclam XL edition comes with sone interesting background information 👍

Yesterday on my trip around this part of Vierwaldstätter See I passed by the Chapel of Wilhelm Tell. It is part of Schiller‘s play Wilhelm Tell and shows some scenes of it. It is placed diectly at the shore of the lake with a beautiful view.
Next literary stop on my Switzerland travels. This is the so-called Hohle Gasse (an alley covered by trees) in which the Swiss hero Wilhelm Tell killed his foe Gessler in the drama of the same name by Friedrich Schiller. The whole drama takes place around the Vierwaldstätter Lake in Switzerland. #friedrichschiller #schiller #wilhelmtell
