pickOh, this just might be my favorite of hers yet! I really enjoyed this fake dating romantic comedy! I laughed, I cried a little & couldn‘t tear my eyes off the pages— a total #OneSittingRead for me! The Michigan summer backdrop added to the fun & I just loved the premise of Daphne fake-dating her ex-fiancé‘s fiancée‘s ex-boyfriend! It does make for a funny story, indeed! It was my first purchase to celebrate last year‘s Indie Bookstore Day, too!
pickAn entertaining and easy read featuring the challenges of sharing space with others. Jon Klassen‘s illustrations are spot on as always. I enjoyed this cute story, especially Rocket Potato. Favorite line, “You sound like a polka when you eat cereal.” 😂 I will be reading the sequel.

pickIt‘s Ali Hazelwood. So, cute romcom stories about grumpy, handsome and very tall men and cute, tiny women. Everyone is smart and there‘s at least one word I can‘t pronounce. But they are fun, and even if they are similar to each other, they are different enough from other books that I‘ll keep reading them. #doublespin #bookspinbingo
pickThis was surprisingly on a year-end “best of 2024” list. Surprisingly because it was so fun and beach-read-y. I liked the characters (Daphne and Miles and Miles‘ sister, Julia). The ode to libraries and books and small towns in Michigan! Couldn‘t put it down.
