After reading the prequel, I had to know what happened between Rachel and Jake. Though the plot was unrealistic, I liked the characters, especially Mars, so I was able to get past that. I liked the idea of a found family and once all the secrets were out how everyone was on team Rachel. Total fluff and enjoyed every steamy moment.

I finished the omnibus and loved every page. I was fully invested in these character‘s arc and so happy with the conclusion. Wished it hadn‘t ended. Fully recommend the series and just look at this special edition from the author‘s store.

I bought a special omnibus edition of this series which I‘ll show once I‘m done the series. For now, book 1 was a great intro to this world with a pet 🦝 ! I‘m in and ready to start book 2.

I‘ve been listening to this one on the MP3 player while doing a million thing at home today. 🏒

This is my second book of H.D. Carlton‘s, and this woman‘s brain is messed up 😅, which makes her books great! I can see why Haunting Adeline is so huge after reading this prequel.

The characters are all so well-rounded and believable, and the chemistry they each exhibit is nothing less than flawless. I was cheering on the entire time, holding my breath through it all. Listening the book would have been life-changing, but having the story narrated to me—to have someone experiencing it alongside me really added a lot to the story and its messages.....
