For a long time, I refused to read Joyce because I thought it to be too difficult. Well, it isn‘t easy, I‘ll give you that. The first story in Dubliners, The Sisters, shocked me because I came to the end and I didn‘t understand anything! After some research, I started to understand the subtexr. And again I was shocked by the mere power of this author‘s art.
