Fascinating read!

What I‘m most excited about (trying) to finish in the next two days. Happy reading everyone🤓📚

This was recommended by my therapist and it‘s helpful for confronting and experiencing emotions.

Did a reading crawl with my book bestie today… a great way to spend a Saturday!!

Random book from our personal library.
One of Amy's college textbooks (she's the head counsellor at our local high school).

In a great example of Jung‘s “synchronicity,” I was reading this book as my partner and I began to watch Bill Moyers‘s series of interviews of Joseph Campbell in “The Power of Myth.” Both really struck a cord in emphasizing the need of truly acknowledging oneSelf (both the conscious and the unconscious, the latter thru dreams) and how a psyche well-met can point to useful parallels in the natural sciences, religion and one‘s life‘s meaning.

It's been a musical month!
? An amazing performance of Gershwin's "Rhapsody In Blue" at our local symphony concert.
? Amazing musicians and composers played a mix of Icelandic classical and folk songs. I cried twice.
? I saw Charlotte Loukola play songs from around the world on violin.
? I'm just so proud of our local resistance peeps.
? MisterInBlue. He's just my favorite person.

Sometimes I listen to music that reflects my mood, and sometimes I listen to music to try to change my mood. I've been feeling anxious, so I've been finding comfort in this playlist I made for MisterInBlue last year when my health started turning around. I guess it's not surprising that songs that remind me of my safe person make me feel safe. 🩵🩵🩵
