I use to be ashamed I read YA and Romance. The main reason I got a kindle was so I didn‘t want to be judged based on the books I read and on a kindle I could hide them and still enjoy them.
Since joining litsy I have grown out of that and now don‘t care what others think. Just because I‘m in my 30‘s and read YA (teen books) doesn‘t make me less of a reader.

Lovesbooks87 Up until about 6 months ago I hadn't picked up a young adult book in years. It has slowly became one of my favorite genres. I feel like some of the most powerful books that I have read this year have been a young adult books. I have learned a long time ago to read what I want to read. I am also a huge romance fan. ravenlee YA books move faster than their adult counterparts, in my experience. It makes it easier to read quickly and more. 6y
