The time period was from back in the days that I followed Baltimore Orioles baseball on the radio. I had never heard of this pitcher in #Japanese #baseball whose pitching record was greater than that of American players. It took this novel for me to learn about Yutaka Enatsu - who was not a fictitious character but rather a legendary baseball #pitcher in #Japan.
