so-soFINALLY finished a #nonfictionbookabouttechnology for #readharder. This uses the same narrative device as The Devil in the White City — a crime juxtaposed with a historical event (the invention of wireless messaging by sea)— but it wasn‘t as good. The connection between the two was pretty flimsy and the technology part was dull. I fell asleep listening to the ending three times and had to rewind & relisten. 🤦♀️

alisahar @Cinfhen granted, I was listening to it on four hours of sleep while riding trains and buses for hours so it might not have been totally the book‘s fault.. 7y
