On the train this morning, some condescending dummy looked at the cover of my book, looked at me, and sneered, “Isn‘t it a little early to be reading romance?” First of all, never speak. Second of all, it feels like you were trying to be racist? Third of all, I am tired of the romance genre being made a punchline by smug jerks who don‘t read.
