pickThis was a good way to start the year and fits #litsyreadingchallenge #memoirbypoc . I found this so interesting as I've not read another writer who talks about class, race and gender in quite the same way before. She's quite aware of some of the privilege she has but is also illuminating in explaining how it has had it own burdens on her. I just can't think what else to say other than pick it up for a unique voice on these topics #ownvoices
