This was such an amazing intro into a fascinating world. I'm fully invested in the MC and want to know more about this strange world of portals and dungeons. And the art! My goodness it is good, and genuinely terrifying. I've never felt my blood pump from a graphic novel like this before.

This was such a surprise for how much I enjoyed this. I spend through this like crazy and was heavily invested in the dungeon situation. The statues were so interesting and creepy. I just kept turning page after page wanting to know what would happen. I can‘t wait to continue the series.

Beautifully illustrated, this book offers the moving testimony of a comfort woman. The author also shares her thoughts, she draws herself during the interviews, during her research, which adds value, and also shows how politically this issue is still unresolved.
pickAncco made a name for herself in Korea when she started publishing diary comics in the early 2000s. The comics in this book, a collection of vignettes from/inspired by her life, meander through the highs and lows of adolescence, family, friendship, love, and the process of growing up. Render in start black and white art, the book offers a fascinating & intriguing look at contemporary life in Korea. An entertaining read.

so-soMy dogs expression is mine too. This is a very very dark horror manga about a man who stalks the cool guy he has a crush on and falls into a much much worse situation. It does do a job of giving you extreme dread throughout, but I can‘t say I liked it. 3.25⭐️
