pickA beautifully written book that pulls at the heartstrings. I could see my 13 year old self reflected in June and the notions of a lack of self worth and heart breaking unrequited love. Her relationship with Toby was completely believable and you can't help but be touched as their friendship blossoms. And yes, there were tears at the end. A truly lovely debut novel.
