Right now, it‘s more of a phrase: “spoiled milk.” It just drudges up memories for a lab I did this year where we left out milk for two weeks. One 250mL was even put in a fridge heated to 37*C (98.6*F, roughly body temp). Every day, someone had to check temperature and pH, and then write observations about look and smell. More than a few times, my stomach lurched. It was the worst lab I‘ve ever done!
