pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sympathetic and fair portrait of Lady Bird Johnson and the important role she played in her husband‘s career and presidency, including passages from her diaries throughout. The book is well written and interesting, but not so compelling that I‘d recommend it to friends who aren‘t already interested in 20th century presidential history or First Ladies.
