Might be the last read of the year.
It's not all bruce lee but how his words reflect.
Good one sitting read

Some people are unaware of how much strategy is involved on martial arts. They think it‘s random arm swinging. Bruce lee teaches proper defending techniques and strategy that people who make up their own systems don‘t know. There are small details and theory and he covers the fundamentals including advice, how to block or evade attacks, how to deceive and outsmart your opponent. It‘s not a list of combinations, but it is still very useful.

The Tao of Wu | The RZA

This book is great. It is good for anyone not just people who like the wu-tang clan. It is by the founder RZA and is basically his philosophy which is a combination of several other religions/philosophers. He also gives lots of comparisons of modern day life to these different philosophical ideas. Overall a good book that will make you think and maybe even give you a new way of thinking.

MissYaremcio Oh this sounds interesting!! I would have liked the theme and how it is established, but overall nicely done. 4/6 3y

This was a memoir of a young and somewhat naive American who goes off to China to train with Shaolin monks in the early to mid-nineties. This was a lot of fun thanks in large part to the fact that the author is a self-deprecating nerd. The author also wrote a solid biography about Bruce Lee and I look forward to reading his third book in which he trains for an MMA fight!

I'm sorry but this wasn't a very good book. It's not very long at all. But there was sooo much information just left out. It skipped all over the place and things just happened too fast. It wasn't all that believable and I just didn't really like it. I love thrillers but this just wasn't it.

Nice little book on Ip Man from his son.
It's not detailed but enough to know the master a bit more

We‘re talking edge-of-your-seat suspenseful, page-turning, unputdownable, read in one sitting kind of book. I love April Henry #iheartYA

This was a very fast read. I loved how Savannah didn‘t have it in her to give up. I liked the different points of view that you get throughout the book.
