Yes! I'm always happy when I see or hear people use the correct terminology to describe a snake that delivers venom through its bite. It's not "poisonous!"
If you don't know, poisons are ingested or delivered by contact (like a rash). Venoms are injected via fangs, stinger, etc.
FYI, this is why my Bestie calls me a "smug animal bastard." I can't help myself. #knowitall
