Week 4. Traditional Literature. I love this book! It allows children to hear a fiction story based on a true person. The illustrations are also great. Published in 2010.

This book is a great introduction to folktales. The illustrations are whimsical and bright. The author explains the story in a way that is easy for children to understand.

This is a good book to represent a folktale.
