Clwojick Omg, I had no idea there were so many volumes in chew! I think I have up to 8. 7y
CatLass007 @Hornsby78 @EclecticBookLover I‘ve read the first volume of Fables and loved it, now I have it in my own library. 7y
CatLass007 @Clwojick I enjoyed Chew, Vol 1, so I checked out everything the library had in the series. 7y
HatefulGrablin Chew gets so crazy, but it's great! 7y
Betty What books are on the bottom? 7y
CatLass007 Hi, @Betty ! Those are books I bought with a gift card at Mr. K‘s, and didn‘t want to include in my library haul. They‘re volumes of Y - THE LAST MAN. 7y
Betty @CatLass007 which volumes did you buy? I'm reading these now. 🤓 (confession: was going to mail 3 to you for part of #dystopianblues). You'll enjoy it! (edited) 7y
CatLass007 @Betty Yikes!! So sorry. I think I have them all now... I should‘ve known better than to buy books. 7y
Betty @CatLass007 Not a problem. I'll pass these volumes to my son and his stepdaughter. Not the first time I've bought something off someone's TBR for a swap and saw they got it in a book haul. I'm glad I asked what these books were (edited) 7y

Devil in a Blue Dress | Walter Mosley
post image
Pickpick

A friend of mine is a big fan of Walter Mosley, which is one of the reasons I was looking forward to reading this for #whodunitthesequel. It‘s a quick read which is good because I‘m doing the #epicbuddyread of #TheNameoftheWind, as well as #graphicnovelweekplus and the buddy read of #EvelynBoxfish ... This was between a pick and a so-so for me. But I want to find out more about Easy Rawlins and Mouse so I‘m giving it 3 1/2 🌞. (Continued)👇👇👇👇

CatLass007 The revelation of The Devil‘s true identity was a surprise, as were the identities of the several killers. It was enough to prompt me to buy a copy for myself (shown in photo) in case I want to read it again. (edited) 7y
ScientistSam I'm glad you were intrigued enough to want to keep reading! 7y
