I just finished chapter 9, “Proactive Strategies to Make Life.” This chapter gave lots of suggestions which helped address questions I have about how to handle different situations from preventing and handling meltdowns in supermarkets to children demanding attention to bed time routines. We are in the process of getting certified to adopt and despite already having a strong foundation, I learned a lot from reading the book.
