About half way through. I‘m trying to #diversify my reading, both in ethnicity/origin of story and genre.
When this came across my spectrum I originally said “eh... it‘s a romance I‘ll skip”. However, the library had it out on display and decided to give it a try.
It‘s okay so far. I don‘t care about the romance, but her world is interesting. #indian #romance
Really enjoyed this novel. Part of my attempt to diversify my reading this year. I enjoy ethics as well and think Ms. Picoult does a terrific job weaving in multiple layers and narratives. #june #library #diversify
pickOctavia Butler is a groundbreaking author, venturing into SFF where no black woman had gone before. You may pick this book up to #diversify but I hope you'll stay for the story. It's thought-provoking and relevant. Reading more soon.
