Unfortunately, it‘s not the good fortune she assumed it was. Lane and her cousin react in different ways to the family legacy that drives the women in their family to either run away or kill themselves. Creepy crawlies all the way through this one with emphasis on the “eewww” factor.

A man who is dying for redemption after losing his slave to an accident. An island to bring them together. One of the author's best stories.
