It was ok it was a fast read but I felt like it was trying too hard to be funny sometimes. Also I was not really fan of all the footnotes, mostly because I found them to be a little distracting sometimes

Even though the ending of this book was predictable, it didn‘t take away from the writing being wonderful and insightful (I highlighted many quotes).
Javi‘s hustle story was not a new one, but it was still entertaining and it gives you something to think about when it comes to how far will you go to obtain external validation and are you willing to pay the price for the risks that you take?
Excellent debut!

Exactly how I feel when non-fiction or memoirs spend too much time giving me statistics…

I wasn‘t trying to play the victim until the world taught me what a powerful grift it is.
Will I finish a book this week? Maybe…In the meantime, let‘s start a new one!
I've been feeling really low the past few weeks, and it's making it difficult to focus on a book. I've started several - physical, ebooks, and audios - and I just can't get through anything. So, I pulled this off my shelf tonight in hopes that a cozy Christmas-y book will get me out of my funk, or at least let me escape into someone else's world for a little while.
