This is a really cute book so far- kids would love it, especially if they‘ve read The Secret Garden & Alice in Wonderland. But maybe if they haven‘t , they will want to after reading this book! Nothing like reading a book in which book characters come alive! #BooksAreMagical 📚🎉♥️

Gissy I loved this book. I'm waiting for the sequel to arrive! 🤗 5y
tpixie @Gissy it‘s so cute!!! I don‘t even remember how I stumbled upon it! 5y

Everytime I read a Jane Austen book, I want to say #Ibelieveinathingcalledlove ❤️

In 2009 I had my first real break up, and my parents divorced, so my faith in love wasn‘t really a big thing. I spent a lot of time immersed in books that year, and especially Austen and Twilight (yes, I said it), helped me to regain a bit of trust and confidence in love again. So I‘m a believer in the healing magic of books 🙌🙌

Cinfhen Awww, sad days have brought u to brighter days 😘😘 #booksaremagical ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ 7y
ephemeralwaltz Twilight helped us all 💕💕💕😂😍😍😍🙏🙏 7y
Kalalalatja @Cinfhen well, I was 16 and everything felt kind of all-or-nothing at the time 😅 but I definitely felt like my rosy-lovey-dovey-outlook on life got a cold bucket of water poured over it. Luckily, the rosy outlook has mostly returned 💕👌 7y

Kalalalatja @ephemeralwaltz it certainly did! 😂😂 as a 16 year old, Twilight was LIFE! But it was probably a good thing I had Austen to balance things out a bit 👍😄 7y
saresmoore Listen, I hate the bad writing and the absurd premise of the Twilight books as much as the next reader, but those books got me through a pregnancy and one of the hardest years of my marriage (followed closely by a more mature supernatural romance, but still!). #TeamEdward I also read a lot of Jane that year. Hope is a powerful thing! 7y
AlaMich @saresmoore just askin‘ here, but what is a supernatural romance? Or did I misinterpret? 🤔 (edited) 7y
saresmoore @AlaMich It‘s a real subgenre! Like Amish romance but with dirtier sex and vampires and werewolves and such? 😃 I‘ve only read the Twilight series and the Sookie Sackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. They‘re pretty unremarkable as literature, but excellent as escapist stories for my wildly hormonal self. 7y
AlaMich @saresmoore Wow. I totally misread that sentence!! I interpreted it as, the hardest year of your marriage was followed by your marriage becoming more mature (fine!) and supernatural (huh?). Didn‘t realize you were talking about a book. 🙄 *wanders off to find caffeine* 7y
AlaMich @saresmoore And I have read some of the Sookie Stackhousr series and enjoyed them, and then I read Twilight. 😐 7y
saresmoore @AlaMich Bahaha! I definitely did not make that clear! I‘ve already maxed my daily caffeine quota, so I‘ll leave the original poorly articulated comment and let our subsequent thread serve as clarification. 😴😬 7y
Centique @saresmoore that was a great thread! 😂Twilight got me through a pregnancy too. It was exactly what I needed at the time and I‘ll always be fond of it I think. It has issues for sure but yeah, no shame about liking it 👍 😁@Kalalalatja @ephemeralwaltz 7y
eanderson Jane Austen can fix a lot! 7y
batsy ❤️❤️ The Twilight books got me through a really bad patch in a terrible job; I make fun of the books and myself 😂 but ... I hear you! 7y
