One of the books that has been on my TBR the longest. Finally getting to the book that everyone else has read and so far I‘m really enjoying it.

This book is HYPED in the book communities I belong to and even at the SciFi and Fantasy bookstore I go to.
It‘s also SciFi and I still feel like an imposter saying I like SciFi since I haven‘t read a lot in the genre.

Also the team #bard weakness is to read a book with music or poetry in it so this counts.
I‘ve been reading one poetry collection a month this year as poetry was an area I wasn‘t giving a lot of love to in my reading life and I‘ve been really glad that I‘ve been able to follow this challenge and get amazing poems along the way
I haven‘t been feeling the best this week and therefore haven‘t been reading that much (which is how you can tell something is off with me!).
I have been managing bits and pieces of Spinning Silver, my atmospheric read for the Hallow Isle in the #bookjunkietrials
Definitely a great read for winter, which it is here in Australia ❄️

Lily lives on a farm in Kansas, where we find some letters from 2 characters from the past. The first, Catherine, is a teen during the dust bowl. I really enjoyed this SciFi retelling of the Arthur legend. It‘s diverse and has a found family that I adore.
The first challenge at Elven guard is done and I got past those elves by brushing up on my political skills that I learnt from this book 😉
Onwards to the hallow isle and my atmospheric read!
These 4, plus Stardust (the group book), are my TBR for the #bookjunkietrials, which goes all the way through July. I am a #scribe though, so I get to change my TBR if I so choose 🙃
Starting my first book of the month. It‘s Monday and I need to have all three bookclub books read by Friday. No pressure, right?
