A quintessential fall read. Jake arrives in the past in September, a prominent scene takes place on Halloween, and the titular event takes place in November.

This was my third book by Stephen King. While I did enjoy the story, I think it‘s my least favorite of the three King books I‘ve read so far. This might be a case of “I liked the show better.” #blasphemy?

Any suggestions for my next King?

twohectobooks Hm, I haven‘t read The Outsider, but maybe try: Pet Sematary, Firestarter, the Different Seasons novellas, and The Talisman (co-written with Peter Straub). 6y
