The only thing I really knew about the Hindenburg before reading this book is that it blew up. Lawhon does an excellent job weaving fact and fiction together to create a possible theory for what happened on that ill-fated flight. I really came to love the characters, all real people on the actual flight. I must remember that Starbucks is not the place to finish a book that will make you cry, which is what happened.

Holy crap, guys. This book 😍. Set in WWII, occupied France. The story of two women, one a mother trying to protect her daughter and survive the war, the other a spy and political activist.
