Bronwyn Parry wrote the first Australian romantic suspense story that I remember reading. I've read every book of her since, and I'm just about to read her latest. Australian romantic suspense has a very different character to mainstream romantic suspense. It's often less...explosiony. And small town policing is often a very prominent feature of the plot. #aww2016
A romcom that starts off as I-hate-you-I-love-you, but ends up in a much gentler place. I'm not a fan of workplace rivalry, but when Josh and Lucy finally spend time together and their feelings start to show, I was totally invested in their relationship. Their banter is clever and sweet. The writing is just lovely. The tone of the book borrows heavily from chicklit, but structurally the story is firmly within romance. #aww2016
Mitch grimaced, clearly embarrassed. 'Mum.' 8y
