1….yes but they were not intentional…As a tween I loved babysitting my nieces and nephews while my sis, an RN, worked her shifts. One day I preheated the oven to bake cookies but didn‘t know she kept her Tupperware in there. What a mess! Another time I made popsicles, but used salt instead of sugar. Oh the kids‘ faces 🥴

2. The Amelia Bedelia books fit the bill here. She took everything literally oblivious to her misinterpretations.

My second Amelia Bedelia book arrived today! I am reliving my love of the Amelia Bedelia classics so ordered these two (tagged one is an original from decades ago). Poo-Dunit is making an appearance in the background and gets an honorable mention...it is also amazing. ❤️

4 ⭐ Amelia Bedelia was a staple of my childhood. She was the lady who always got it wrong. But she got it wrong in a funny and lovable way. In this book the surprise shower is a wedding shower. Amelia still thinks it‘s a shower with water. She‘s asked to scale and ice to fish and covers them in chocolate. She‘s asked to cut some fresh flowers and she chopped them up in a bowl. LibrarianRyan didn‘t know better. Well Amelia Bedelia is an adult in the book, she has the same qualities and misunderstandings as kids which makes her such a lasting character in our modern society. The story was quite lovely, but it‘s a level two I Can Read book, and is more difficult than many other publishers level three and level for readers. 1y

This book had a lot of bingo spots on the #ISpyBingoFebruary @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks. It was a cute book, but I found the character annoying. No one can be that clueless, can they? It has an apron, a messy bun, and stripes on the painters' clothes.
