8little_paws @itsbrb @gibblr it's an app where you can download movies, tv, comics, ebooks, audiobooks, and music. You must have a card for a participating library to join. What makes Hoopla great is it's set up so there's never any wait list!! 8y

Books_Wine_Repeat @itsbrb @gibblr @8little_paws Yes! It's awesome! There is a 10 title monthly limit. My library initially only had music and Tv but now they've added books and ebooks. It doesn't have all the books that OverDrive has but it still has a great selection. Two books I downloaded had a 5 person wait on OverDrive. Now these pretties are mine, all mine ...for a month. 8y

8little_paws @Books_Wine_Repeat point of clarification-- the monthly limit is set by the library and varies from library system to system. Chicago public only allows six a month. I do hope they increase it! 8y

Books_Wine_Repeat @gibblr I downloaded it and just scrolled looking for my library. Lol. Also, check the settings on OverDrive for length of checkout on audiobooks. Mine was defaulted to 7 days and only recently changed it to 21. I hope this option is available to you. 8y

The story of Jess Molson convicted of setting a fire that killed 10 yr old Alex, her neighbor. This is an excellent paranormal story, somewhat creepy and very twisty. The audiobook was well narrated. Can't wait to read The Girl with All the Gifts. 🤕🤐🔥👻⚖️☠️

This is a collection of many stories: some humorous, some slightly suspenseful and a lot of blah. The Lottery falls into the slightly suspenseful category. I just read The Haunting of Hill House so maybe I was expecting something along those lines. This is not that story. I expected too much and it fell flat for me.

scripturient I've watched the movie several times so I've always been a bit hesitant to get the book cause I have the feeling the story will be ruined anyway due to seeing the film first. :( 8y
