I have to get through chapter 11 by tomorrow night and I am STRUGGLING. I am terrible at reading books with written dialect and all of the dialogue in this is phonetically written. I have never finished a Mark Twain book in my entire life, this is a serious challenge for me. #studentlife #afamlit
Book #2 for 2017 is Jonah's Gourd Vine by Zora Neale Hurston. This is the second Hurston book that I have read, the first was Their Eyes Were Watching God. I'm not sure what to expect since this is but her most well know work.
