This book is laugh-out-loud hilarious. It lives on my nightstand as a palate cleanser and joy-bringer.

I finished 8 books in December. My two favorites were The Scholar and the Last Faerie Door and an ARC of Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales. Both books with faeries!🧚‍♂️

If you enjoy SF and LitSF I would highly recommend this. It's very short, it's beautifully written, and is highly political. I want to force strangers in the street to read it. So please stack add, go read the first chapter, let yourself get sucked into the writing.
