I‘m listening to “The Lady‘s Guide to Petticoats & Piracy” during my hour-long work commute, reading “I Ate the Cosmos for Breakfast” (a book of poems), putting-off “Manhattan Beach” for my December book club meeting, & I started “Broken Things” (a YA Fantasy/Thriller) one day when I forgot the book I was reading at home. I've never read any Roger Zelazny, but I've always loved this title whenever I came across it, so I picked it up to read this year.
If I'm understanding the premise it's about Jack the Ripper vs Sherlock Holmes, and Dracula and Frankenstein's monster get involved somehow... all told from the point of view of the Ripper's dog, Snuff.
31 chapters and the back of the book recommends one a day so that's what I'll do. #thefinalcountdown #Rocktober
