pickHad really low expectations after her first one, which was such a snooze 😴. But this one is worth checking out! The writing was spectacular, and overall the book was everything I wanted #TheChalkMan to be. Minus some points for the too-obvious Stephen King tropes, some plot holes, and an ending that was totally bonkers--but overall, one of the better thrillers I've read recently! 4/5 🌟#TheTakingOfAnnieThorne
