Ordinary and not so ordinary people live together in the rubble-strewn streets of Baghdad in the beginning of the 21th century. Suicide killings are happening all the time, yet people live their lives. Then Frankenstein comes to live among them. Made of body parts from the dead. A tragic yet comical story that leaves me a bit sad and thinking about life in war torn Iraq.

BarbaraBB @Kalalalatja I think he is more of a tool to tell the story of everyday life in Baghdad. That is both a weak and a strong point of the book... weird, I know! 4y

Grammar errors in books suck but this isn't their book. I don't know if I find this funny or annoying. 🤷🏽‍♀️

RadicalReader @That-Bookish-Hiker never would have imagined there to be grammar errors or spelling errors in books but only way to prevent it is to go through it with a fine tooth comb 7y

I must apoligize to my litsy followers that my feed has become a journal cataloging #thestruggle But since books tend to be the luxury I have trouble resisting the MOST, it's appropriate. I know most of you might be able to relate.
My library just launched their subscription to Overdrive's Libby app. The OG Overdrive app, imho, is very clunky. Libby fixes a lot of that, but I'm still missing my wishlist feature. 😢

MarriedtoMrT Lol. You should try tagging as an alternative. When you search for titles you can tag them as 📚and then they show up in the Tags section on your shelf. Doesn't help with things you've already had on the wishlist. I swear I don't work for Overdrive. 😉 7y
