The best features of this book were Peter May's beautiful writing and his description which made you feel like you were right there on the island witnessing everything that was happening. Also, I found the island and the people very interesting. It was a brilliant story with just enough mystery that kept me guessing until the very end. read 1/5/15
EadieB I have re-read The Lewis Man by Peter May from 1/5/15 and found out that I have forgotten most of what I read 9-1/2 years ago. It was all about Marsali's father and his dementia. I'm glad I re-read it and will now re-read The Chessmen. I'm getting ready to read book 4 when it will be published in September and I will be better prepared since I have re-read these 3 books. 8/9/24 3mo

Tove_Reads I am amazed that I have forgotten almost everything. I only remembered that this is one of my top 3 trilogies. So happy he decided to write a fourth book! 3mo
EadieB @Tove_Reads I am amazed that I have forgotten so much too. I think that I was confusing these books with the island books that Ann Cleeves write. (Shetland books) (edited) 3mo
