Pickpick

This book started much like some of the other books. The brothers arguing like brothers, the war with the lessers, the Omega making an appearance, but then it quickly changed to something else entirely. This became very domestic and heartwarming. So many happy endings, but also so many new pieces to the puzzle that will surely be put into place in the next books.

GingerAntics This one had several teary moments, some sad, some happy. Talk about a beautiful ending, too. #jrward #BlackDaggerBrotherhood #TheBeast 2y
GingerAntics I‘ve seen some reviews of this book complain about it being whiny and/or boring because both Rhage and Mary want a baby and can‘t have one, and they work through that together because the readers don‘t want kids themselves. What I find interesting is these are the same people that “whine” and get “boring” going on about how no one understands how they just don‘t want kids. Once again, can we just not try to see the other side people? 2y
GingerAntics I get that some folks don‘t want kids. That‘s a personal choice. Not everyone is a kid person. That‘s cool. It‘s better not to have kids than to have kids you don‘t want and have those kids suffer as a result, honestly. Just don‘t complain of a lack of understanding if you‘re going to choose to have a lack of understanding yourself. Can‘t we all try to see each other as valid and human, please?! 2y

Can‘t wait to spend some time back with Rhage and Mary in this one. 🤞🏻 it continues on the new path set out by the last two books.

Well crap! I'm about 26 years too late to win a ride on The Beast! Fortunately for me, I have ridden it dozens of times in my life. The reason I actually picked this one up. I can't believe I've never read this before!

Chelsea.Poole I‘ve ridden The Beast many times myself! And Son of Beast! 😆 3y
aperfectmjk @Chelsea.Poole same here. As a teen my friends and I practically lived at King's Island. 3y

#BookReport

Finished:
📚 Christmas for One
📚 Christmas Days
📚 The Ten Loves of Mr Nishino
🎧 Shuggie Bain (I don‘t think I‘ve ever listened to that many hours that fast)

In Progress:
📚 The Snow Sister
📚 My Short Story Advent Calendar
📚 Anne of the Island #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead
📚 Girl, Woman, Other #SheSaid
These are a chapter a day or a section a week reads

Nicos I‘ve perennially flirted with reading more than one book at a time but always found myself reverting to just the one. How do you find it ? 4y
Cinfhen Wonderful progress!!!! Looks like you had a great reading year❤️😃📚🙌🏻 4y
AnneCecilie @Nicos Before Litsy, I only read one book at a time. But in here I‘m participating in buddy reads and several of them are reading a chapter a day, or weekly discussions. Generally the books are so different that I have no problem separating them. The only thing is that they take longer to read, but I find that slowing down the reading means that I notice things I normally wouldn‘t notice. 4y
AnneCecilie @Cinfhen I‘ve had a wonderful reading year. I‘ve never read this many books in a year before and there‘s still some time left to get in some more reading. 4y
Cinfhen And you tackled #TheBeast 🙌🏻 4y

Just opened this book. This is the first paragraph. Whoa, have these sentences sucked me right in. Who is talking? Who or what is The Beast? “...teeth like piano keys”! Not sure where this going but I just may enjoy the ride.

Librarybelle It really does make you want to read more! 6y
CouronneDhiver Super curious!!! 6y
kspenmoll @Librarybelle @CouronneDhiver I stopped after that paragraph - only cause life happened, but that opening fascinated me! 6y
