Repost for @BookwormAHN

For February we visited the Jedi Council in The Living Force. Lots of Jedi, one messed up planet. What did y‘all think?

In March, Mace Windu gets his own book.

As always, if anyone wants to be added or removed let @BookwormAHN know. And May the force be with you always

Jari-chan Really, quite a lot of Jedi 😆 I'm curious about Mace, never really payed him much attention... 😰 2d
BookwormAHN @Jari-chan I've always loved his purple lightsaber 💜 2d

I really enjoyed this despite the heartbreaking drama that is YA Star Wars.
Jedi Knight Reath and Padawan Azzazzo are trying to find the origins of the Nameless and how they are connected to the Blight. Also fallen Jedi Knight Azlin Rell is helping. Probably?

Soft pick. The story itself didn't grab me, even though I liked the idea of the Jedi Council mingling with normal people. There were many scenes that made me laugh out loud, but all in all there were just way to many characters. Whenever I stopped reading and picked the book up again, I had to look up who's who (except for the obvious ones). Guess I'm not that much of a Star Wars fan after all? 😭

BookwormAHN I don't think that's the problem. Sometimes a book can have too many characters 😸 3d
Jari-chan @BookwormAHN Thank you! 🙏 3d

repost for @BookwormAHN:

In January we read or are still waiting to read Tears of The Nameless. How did y'all like it?
For February we have The Living Force. It takes place shortly before The Phantom Menace and we are back with the Jedi from that era. This should be good.
As always if anyone wants to be added or removed just let me know. And May the Force Be With You Always #StarWarsBuddyRead

The_Literary_Jedi Really liked TotN. The audio was awesome! Story kicked along at an even keel and there were some great character moments built in naturally. Really great read 1mo
BookwormAHN @The_Literary_Jedi Yay, I'm still waiting on the audiobook from my library. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it 😺 1mo

PuddleJumper I'm just keeping note. My library heavily favours the younger books and graphic novels 1mo

George Mann did an awesome job here (after reading the afterword it's even more impressive and moving). These books are getting better and better and better. And there's always a character I loose my heart to. Here it was Amadeo.
And I LOVED Dorian's part. I imagined a young, maybe confused kid reading this and finally finding some answers. Just all the hearts, really.

In December, we read Beware the Nameless. I enjoyed it, especially Churo. How did y'all like it?
For January, it's time for Tears of the Nameless where Reath & Azzazzo go to test some theories out about the Nameless.

Gissy I am extremely behind my Star Wars reading. Can I read books from previous lists (2023 & 2024) in conjunction with this new list? I know there are some trilogies which I will read in order. 2mo
BookwormAHN Absolutely and mostly it's the High Republic ones that should be read in order. 2mo
