Every Thursday I will be posting about a book, or short story, I love that I have either never posted about or have not posted about in a long time. so-soI'd missed these characters. The last volume ended on a cliffhanger and we get to see how that all wrapped up. But after that it seemed like we got a lot of random stories that were fun, but didn't add much to the overall story plot. We did start to see some more character development though.
pickThis might be my favourite volume of the series so far. It's the story about the fish and the robot creature that takes care of it. A lot of depth is revealed here. The philosophical ideas that flew into this chapter, deeply moved also touched me.
pickNew lesson learned: when you have only about 5-10 minutes left to read in a book, then don't try to go to sleep without finishing it... My brain kept buzzing for AGES.
Volume 2 is a lot of fun, and I read it so fast. I really should order volume 4, since I'm sure I'll devour volume 3 as well...
Yep... this was the right choice for my mood. I've read two thirds of it already; saving the last part for right before bed, or maybe tomorrow. I only have one more volume already owned, so I might have to shake my book budget later to see if I can order volume four.
I still swear I'm not deliberately avoiding a #BookSpinBingo, but... I think if I can grab some time today, I'm going to start the second Apothecary Diaries light novel. I love Maomao and her scientific approach to the world so much.
pickIf Jeremy took over the body of a Jedi knight before forming Clarksons farm. A relaxing and entertaining although odd experience. A “slice of life fantasy”.
