The only thing I didn't like about this book was that I wanted even more. It's so interesting to learn about the progress of Sarah Andersen as an artist and a person. I was amused that she saw herself as moving away from “relatability“ in her recent work, because it's still her hallmark for me, even when the main character has bat wings.

(The image isn't from this book, btw, but it illustrates what I wanted to say perfectly.)

I always enjoy a "Sarah's Scribbles" book. Of course, there were some I really enjoyed, others I didn't care for. I think this one was a little bit more personal to the author, which was nice to see.

If I‘m being honest, a world dominated by the world‘s laziest animals…. Sounds pretty darn delightful.

This was my least favorite of the Scribbles books but the majority of the comics were funny.

Way of the House Husband, volume 2 (from my TBR pile)
Such a simple and hilarious read! Also…I somehow have TWO copies of this volume??!! I‘m fuzzy as to how this happened 🤔 Most likely ordered twice without realizing, and then too lazy to return? Yes, most likely 🙄😆

While I was disappointed at first not to return to the crew of the Wayfarer, it didn't last long. I greatly enjoyed getting to know Lovelace as she settles into her new life outside of a ship framework, and enjoyed exploring the troubling survival story of a small girl created for one purpose until accidentally unmoored from it. I adored the ending as well. #LGBTQIA #SliceOfLife #Cozy

Who gave this author permission to mess with my emotions like this? I'm frustrated with some of the decisions the characters are making, but I know things are going to eventually work out. I'm invested in all of their relationships.
