rabbitprincess @CarolynM I loved the Museum of Copenhagen and Kronborg Castle, aka Hamlet‘s castle ? the beach at Amager Strand is nice too! In Sweden I saw Malmö, Ystad and Lund. Lund is BEAUTIFUL and a real university town. Ystad is a must if you like Kurt Wallander ? As for food, be sure to go to Sct Peders Bageri in Copenhagen 6mo

My version of blue ling in mustard cream sauce (blálanga í sinnepssósu), p 95 of the cookbook, with new potatoes. Very nice, and a lot less scary than some of the other recipes in the book 😁

Dilara @Texreader In the tagged book, the recipes run the gamut from 70s anglo retro (lamb in a curry sauce made w/ tinned pineapple chunks & 2 teaspoons of curry powder 😱) to safe North-European fare to dishes that are very much out of my comfort zone (fermented skate) or use unobtainable ingredients (flamed puffin breasts). Main dishes involve strong-flavoured seabirds, lamb/mutton or fish, so not for everyone. All the dessert recipes sound nice tho 8mo
