Set in Nigeria 2015. We meet Adunni, a 14 year old girl from a small village who dreams of an education and helping others. We follow her through heartbreak after heartbreak as she navigates the most harrowing of circumstances in pursuit of a better life and achieving her dream. This was just beautifully written, kept me on pins and needles and reading compulsively, can't reccomend it enough. 💛

Here‘s my choices for winter for #booked2022.I reserve the right t9 change my mind 27 times before then! There There is a re-read but I wanted to read it anyway as a companion piece to Ceremony, which I have just studied.

Opinions on Flight Behaviour for #ecofeminist novel? It appears on lots of eco-lit lists and the MC is female so…..?

Oryx Flight Behaviour took me a while to get into, and I considered bailing, but I ended up loving it. It's a slow read, but gets under your skin. For me, anyway. 4y
