I liked this a lot (but not as much as The Forgotten Garden)! I was not a huge fan of Dorothy, but got over it in the end. I do like the way she writes these - alternating between the different times & points of view. Also, this completes #ProjectKindle - time to reboot & see if that helps it! Thanks for following along! #14 📚❤️✅

Karkar I am kinda sad project Kindle is over....lol 7y
ChantelMcCray I need to read the rest of her books. I loved the Forgotten Garden. 7y
Pamwurtzler @ChantelMcCray I'm definitely reading more of her books. 7y
Pamwurtzler @Karkar Not me! I feel so de-cluttered now. Of course this does not begin to address the 10 library books on the other kindle!! #bookwormproblems 7y
kitty_reads Wow I'm impressed!! 7y

Mehso-so

Finished this today. Never having been involved in elite kid sports like that, I hope it's not that cut-throat. (Somehow I think it probably is). I did suspect the mystery sooner than I normally do - there were plenty of hints. Hence the so-so rating. #ProjectKindle #13

I liked this more than I expected, based on commentary from @drbethandherkindle but it was still a very stressful read as this family's life spiraled out of control. #ProjectKindle #12

Cinfhen After living through the whole college admissions process twice dont think I want to read about it 😝 7y
Pamwurtzler @Cinfhen I'm a few years removed from the college process, but I could definitely remember the pain while I was reading this book! 7y
Cinfhen It was a few years for me too, but I'm still emotionally drained🙄 7y

drbethandherkindle I can't even remember what I thought about this book, but I'm guessing it wasn't positive 7y
drbethandherkindle ALSO, @Cinfhen I would just like to add that MY college admissions process was perfectly smooth and to blame all of the stress @Pamwurtzler had on @kitty_reads 7y
Pamwurtzler @drbethandherkindle You told me you didn't like it all that much. 7y
Pamwurtzler Also @drbethandherkindle , your college admission process was plenty stressful. Believe me when I tell you. 7y
drbethandherkindle I just had to go look it up on Goodreads and I still only vaguely remember it. Wasn't it full of people making bad choices? 7y
Pamwurtzler @drbethandherkindle yes, pretty much. That sometimes makes me crazy. 7y
Egallagher713 Halfway through and love it so far I think because I can remember the craziness of college admissions with my own kids 7y

A little road trip reading. I loved this book-such a great story about finding the truth about a family! #ProjectKindle #11

GondorGirl I've adored everything she's ever published. One of my must-buy authors for sure! ❤ 7y
Pamwurtzler @GondorGirl I have this on my kindle TBR - was is as good? 7y
GondorGirl @Pamwurtzler That's one of my favorites! The story is a little dark and sad, and the characters are so amazing! 😍 7y

Clearly this was a quick read - I started it this afternoon & now I'm done! I liked this - a family with a magic garden, some romance, a little mysticism all in one! #ProjectKindle #9

I really liked this, and I don't read science fiction as a rule. I loved the characters, and the writing felt really fresh, rather than written in 1992. #ProjectKindle #8

This was a light escapist read - super predictable but I enjoyed it in the end. #ProjectKindle #7

I can't decide if I liked this or not. . . Hence the so-so rating. I can certainly see the allure of the group from Evie's perspective, but the girls all gave me the creeps. #ProjectKindle #6

Not my usual read, but I liked it! This book traces the history of a Vermeer painting from person to person, family to family back to its origin. #ProjectKindle #5
