Crinoline_Laphroaig As to the Annotated Edition - it's beautiful. But all the Footnotes distract from just reading the story. Found myself read Chapter 1st out of one of my other copies then going back a reading Footnotes. So I actually read the book twice. I'll have to count that on my Goodreads. 😉 4y
Crinoline_Laphroaig But I did learn a lot. For instance Last Chapter talked about how P & P has is the most Fairy-tale of her books. Handsome prince + Beautiful maiden. 4y

Crinoline_Laphroaig The continued explanation of phrases like 'wait on' or words like 'situation' got on my nerves. You have to be pretty well versed in Austen to spend the money on this book. But I'm definitely glad to have in my #collectionnotobsession . 📚 4y
