bailedI was heartbroken after what I found in the beginning of this book. Books one through three were really fun, but Percy compared a band playing at school to the sound of animal abuse. I cannot and will not finish this series. All he had to do was say that Percy hated the music, but his comparison to animal abuse ruined his series that I would have finished.
pickSecond book in the series. Still enjoying it so far. I‘ll have to pick up the next one from the library. I like the easy read after a long work day
pickTo start off it feels good to have Percy Jackson and the ground back together. But I think this series has one big problem, because the series is a prequel and we know what happens to series it kind of undercuts the entire series. I don‘t think this was entirely needed as I consider Percy‘s arc over as of house of hades. Aside from that this had a lot of classic Percy Jason moments. This was a good ready but won‘t be important overall

picki spent most of the book getting stressed out because senior year is just terrifying like even reading about it stressed me out. percabeth moments had me SOBBING because they're adorable, that has and never will change. and percy sheningans with grover. it was a different type of fun watching percy go through everyday life while juggling quests on the side. especially since uncle rick's emphasizing growing up/leaving home (this just hurt me)
