Soubhiville I had fun with the first half of this too. The second seemed completely unnecessary. This movie was a big one for me as a kid. I watched it so many times ❤️ (edited) 4y

I wish I read this when they were first published. Especially before I read Twilight. Now, it seems Twilight is influencing my decision to rate it. I like the fiery Elena more than the brooding Bella. Brothers fighting over Elena makes for a memorable triangle. And I see elements that Meyer took from it to make Twilight - setting of highschool, trying to stay away from girl because the desire is so much. I'll continue reading.

AsYouWish I am so glad you are enjoying the books!!!! And I totally see what you mean about ideas from this book later on popping up in Twilight. I also agree I like Elena more than Bella, because Edwards felt like Bella needed to be “rescued”, whereas I think Elena can take care of herself and Stefan and Damon give her the space to do that. And in some ways it is almost her rescuing them. I could talk about this forever!!!! 5y

Butterfinger @ElizaMarie I couldn't think of anything except for Twilight. As much as I like the Shadowhunters, I have not watched the movie or the show. So I had to ask my husband and he said Casper the Friendly Ghost. 😆🤣 5y
