#AllHallowsRead Nonfiction #scaryread This book has been on my TBR list for ages because of the combination of true crime (serial killer) and the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago and it's the first book I thought of for today's theme. Since I bought a used copy for .50 cents recently, hopefully I will get to reading it soon! 😱 #nonfictionscaryread

javadiva I ended up skipping the architect part & only read the serial killer part. Haha But I did really enjoy learning about the first Ferris wheel! 8y

britt_brooke This book was good, but I wanted more Holmes as the title eluded. It's more "white city" than the "devil" in it; still a good read, though. ?? 8y
dolleygurl I thought it was a really good book. I listened to it on audio as it is one of my favorite narrators and it was well done. Enjoy! 8y
