bailedThis was like a really bad Black Dagger Brotherhood knock-off.👎 I gave it close to 3 hours, but by the end I was just hate-listening. I didn't like the MC, didn't like the hero, and the dialogue was cringy.🙄 I'm not even sure how this got on my TBR.☻️

Winter White and Wicked is a physical ARC I've had for awhile.
pickThis was a blind date with a book pick. The book was the 7th in a series and I had not read any of the previous books. I did not feel lost jumping in on the 7th book. At the same time I don‘t feel an urge to read more in the series. The book was good and entertaining, just not great. It‘a a romance and murder mystery set in Alaska and has vampire aliens if that‘s your jam.
so-soThis seemed to take way longer than needed to get to the end. Maybe audio would have been better.

I have had this book on my reading list for a while. Mainly because I really enjoyed the Blackdagger Brotherhood series by J. R. Ward. But sadly I'm really struggling to get into this book. There are many of the same traits that are so very similar but without the great writing and humour of J. R. Ward I am just struggling to get into it...
Finally finished my reread of Kiss of Midnight!!! Took me all month but I did it! #PLC
