If you were to ask me who the most influential authors were to me growing up, I think McManus would have to be pretty high on the list. I can remember reading his books when I was only 8 or 9 and not understanding half of it but loving the half that made sense!! A collection of articles originally published in Outdoor Life during McManus's tenure as a columnist there, these are anecdotal takes about hunting, fishing, camping, growing up poor, ⬇️
These little snippets of humor were just what I needed over the weekend. If you disagree with hunting and fishing, he probably isn't the author for you, but there is still a lot⬇ 2y
