Libby kindly provided my next lecture series read. I‘m not big on nonfiction, but I do like bears, so we‘ll see… hooray for libraries!

I'm so glad Myles was called out for his gaslighting and manipulation, in one of the funniest scenes in the book. Sloane redeems her life and heals from his power over her, which is so nice to read. I've no idea why #rbdigital has such bad resolution cover photos so sorry about that. #audiobook #libraryread

The recipes looked fine (crab cakes, deep fried tofu, key lime donuts, gumbo, spinach lasagna) but I was mostly interested in the stories about the singers he included. Included an interesting lineup and each one had something interesting to share along with their recipe. So can‘t comment on the food, but it was entertaining nonetheless.

Lumberjanes vol 5 was a decent addition to the collection but definitely not the strongest which is sad because this is the last volume that founder Noelle Stevenson worked on. Overall, it was enjoyable and I'm looking forward to the future volumes.

Well volume 4 was a complete 180 from volume 3. The story was cohesive and for the first time in the series I finally felt like I knew what was going on. Yay! Hopefully the next volume can keep up this pace.

Well that was terrible. Nothing was redeeming about this book. At all. The story made no sense and the artwork changed every issue. Would not recommend.

RainyDayReading The next volume is so much better! Like it‘s almost a complete turnaround from this one. 5y
samantha.mlis @RainyDayReading Agreed! I ended up reading volume 4 the next day and wow...complete 180 5y

The story itself was ok. There‘s still a lot of questions to be answered and the ending tried to be a cliffhanger, which it it was, but also felt like “WTF just happened”. The artwork is still beautiful though. Overall, I think to truly understand this book, there should be some knowledge on greek gods going in.

This was a reread and just as enjoyable as the first time. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous too 😍

Well it wasn‘t what I was expecting. It‘s more looking back and ends...not how I like things to end. But it‘s a unique story and mostly held my interest. #libraryread #readwomen #diversebooks

Highly recommended by a reader friend, I‘m starting this #LibraryRead about Civil Rights icon, Congressman John Lewis. What do you call a graphic novel when it‘s not fiction? #That

dgingo @SaturnDoo Really? Cool. Thanks! 👍🏼This is only my second full-length graphic text, so it‘s not my genre and I never thought about a non-fiction version. 6y
